This is a simple, yet eye catching banded amethyst wrapped with sterling over copper square wire. The pendant is about 1 1/8 inches long and 5/8 inches wide. The length of the necklace is 18 inches, not including the pendant length. For the necklace itself, I used a very simple black silky cord with a lobster clasp. I also made made sure that the one end of the necklace is small enough to slip through the bail of the pendant so that it can be changed out to another necklace if so desired.
For the wrap, my aim was to give it a gentle sweeping design that would compliment the stone while not distracting from the natural beauty of the banded amethyst.
The wire used for this is sterling over pure copper with a protective, non-tarnishing finish. The brilliant silver color you see will stay brilliant for a long time to come.
Banded amethyst is purported to help enhance intuition along with dissipate & repel negativity. It is also believed to help work with the third eye & chakra.

Its very nice. Its smaller than I expected. The cord that comes with is too small. So I will have to buy a chain to go with it. Yes it arrived on time.
