This is a lovely brooch with light green peridot gemstone clusters set atop of a natural whitetail deer antler burr. The green of the peridot really sets off the nearly orange/brown antler. This is a great present for an August birthday woodland person. This is not overwhelming in size, yet more than enough to catch the eye.
The antler has been washed with a mild detergent but no further treatment has been done. I have not used bleach or artificially coloring of any sort. Nor have I buffed this with any compound. This is a natural, down to earth inspired piece.
