This lovely pendant has hand woven copper wire wrapped around a smooth, polished tiger eye stone. This is a small to medium sized pendant that makes a fashionable focal point, without being to heavy or overwhelming. It is about 1 3/8 high including the bail. It is about 3/4 inches across at the widest point.
I wanted this to have a flowing graceful look, to accomplish this, I set the bail at a slight angle, leading down into the right side and brought swirls along the top and bottom while leaving the left side to host the bulk of the stone. It almost looks as if the stone is being tossed into a wave of water, albeit, not in blue of course.
This is perfect for everyday wear and social events.
The stone is polished with a mild sheen. The copper is pure copper that I have not treated. You can either choose to keep it a shiny copper or you can allow it to naturally patina on its own. If you like it the color it is, I can add a light coating of Renaissance wax before sending it to help it keep its color longer.
