This is an Orthoceras fossil that has been transformed into a wearable piece of history. To ensure that the fossil is the main focal piece that can be worn my man or woman alike, I made a very simple cage for the fossil to set down into. I did give the bail a little more attention, adding a touch of interest while keeping the overall look simplistic.
The necklace itself is adjustable and made from leather cord. It maximum length of 24 inches.
